More Than A Meal
While our Meals on Wheels program is the heart of what we do, at the YRCC we are "More Than A Meal." We are a place for community, fun, education, and activity for people of all ages and backgrounds.
Mid-Day Cafe
The Mid-Day Cafe is welcoming and lively part of the YRCC where people of all ages can have hot breakfasts and lunches daily from Monday to Friday, soft serve ice cream is now served daily from Monday to Saturday, and birthday lunches with an amazing pot roast and usually featuring live music takes place on the last Friday of each month.
Club Yarnell
Club Yarnell is the hub where most of the YRCC's events, presentations, groups, and more are planned. From monthly nutrition talks, health programs like weekly blood pressure checks, fun events like the annual comedy show, the famous "Birthday Friday" featuring delicious pot roast and live music, to partnered events like the Reader's Delight Book Chat and Hassayampa Writers Group with the Yarnell Public Library, Club Yarnell is where all of these things take shape.
Legacy Park
Legacy Park is beautiful, peaceful 1 acre area next to the main YRCC building where events take place, wildlife roams free, and public paths are available for gentle walks through the park. The Wheelhouse is an additional building on the property of the park, including a meeting space and a bathroom. Both Legacy Park and the Wheelhouse are available for the public to reserve to host their own events.
