Jimmy Miller

Executive Director

In my short time volunteering (MOW driver since last May) I have already come to know the YRCC community of volunteers as some of the most caring people I have met. My wife Sandy and I bought a home in Peeples Valley about two years ago in order to help my parents’ transition into a new season of life. We have been married for 30 years, have a son and a daughter, and two grandsons, ages four and six. The grandkids are much more fun. Can I say that out loud? I spent 20 years in the Air Force as an Arabic/Russian Linguist before retiring and becoming a full-time pastor for 16 years. My wife and I are outdoorsy and enjoy camping and hiking. We both grew up around the beach but often have our hearts calling us into the mountains. We have already come to love and appreciate the unique personality of Yarnell and the neighboring communities. I am looking forward to getting to know the people in the community and serving in this capacity. I want to thank everyone who already volunteers in some way at the YRCC and also invite anyone who is interested in serving to come check us out. Come join in the fun.
